Dominik Eulberg’s Mimikry & Mimese EP is a 12" single that showcases his detailed, nature-inspired approach to techno. Released in 2016, it contains two tracks, Mimikry and Mimese, which together unfold as immersive, slowly evolving narratives built from intertwining melodic themes and finely sculpted rhythmic textures. Mimikry presents classic Eulberg characteristics: subtle harmonic layering and precise sound design that gradually reveal an underlying structure. Mimese follows a similar conceptual path, with distinct motifs that morph and realign over time, creating a hypnotic, flowing arc. The EP is rooted firmly in techno while reflecting Eulberg’s signature fascination with camouflage and transformation, both in its musical development and conceptual framing.
