Platon: L'engagement politique en question expliqué par Benny Lévy is a DVD documentary released in 2016, directed by Pascale Thirode and Jackie Berroyer. This audiovisual work falls within the documentary genre and captures Benny Lévy's fourteen-hour seminar dedicated to Plato’s Alcibiade, a foundational philosophical text that probes the very nature of political commitment. Through his intense pedagogical approach, Lévy brings the classical tradition of dialogical philosophical instruction to life, blending clarity and depth as he seeks not merely to transmit knowledge but to foster new avenues of thought accessible to all viewers.
