The year was 1986, and Falco was at the center of the musical universe. Following the unprecedented global explosion of „Rock Me Amadeus,“ his fourth studio album, Emotional, solidified his status as an international icon. The ensuing „Emotional World Tour“ was more than just a series of concerts; it was a victory lap for an artist who blended pop brilliance with a sharp, theatrical edge. To mark the 40th anniversary of this landmark era, Falco – Emotional (Live) is being released for the first time on vinyl. This curated set captures the essence of his legendary performance at Berlin’s Eissporthalle on October 27, 1986. For decades, parts of these recordings were considered lost to time. Now, they return to the spotlight, featuring definitive live versions of hits like „The Sound of Musik,“ „Coming Home (Jeanny Part 2),“ and the soul-stirring title track „Emotional.“ This Record Store Day 2026 exclusive has been meticulously mastered for the format to ensure every nuance of Falco’s commanding vocal performance is preserved. Pressed on limited gold vinyl and housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket, this release serves as both a celebration of a classic album and a tribute to the „Falcon’s“ enduring legacy as a visionary of pop.
